Management sims that fit your commute

Management games used to mean sitting at a desk for hours. The mobile versions had to learn to breathe in short bursts, and the good ones genuinely figured it out.

Skyport Tycoon is my current commute companion. You check in, fix a scheduling jam, maybe buy an upgrade, and close the app without any stress. The early game, when money is tight, is where the real decisions live.

What makes a sim work on phone is a clean interface and the ability to leave at any moment. If I close the app mid-task and come back to a mess, I'm out. The best ones snapshot your state cleanly.

If you like numbers going up but hate feeling trapped by a game, management sims are the sweet spot. Start with something small-scope rather than a sprawling city builder, and build from there.
